On Friday September 29th around 11am Engine 56 was dispatched to assist Norristown Fire Department on a Commercial Building Fire. Engine 56 responded on dispatch and arrived as the second due engine. Engine 56 was assigned to locate and shut off the sprinkler system as well as assist with ventilation of the fire building. Norristown units had a quick knock down and the fire was placed under control shortly after. Deputy 56-1 was also on scene and assisted incident command.
