In 1974, President Ford designated the third week in May as EMS Week to honor EMS clinicians and the important work they do in our nation's communities. National EMS Week 2023—held May 21-27—marks the 49th year of this special week set aside to celebrate the EMS profession and its dedicated providers.
Our Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians of Upper Merion Township work tirelessly each day to keep our community safe and protected. Our units will respond to over 4,000 EMS calls this year and are an integral part of Upper Merion Township Public Safety. During this week, we honor our providers with an extra special thank you for their continued compassion, selflessness, hard work, and dedication to our community!
