In addition at last nights meeting, three Upper Merion Township Police Department officers were promoted. Sargent Faherty was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, Corporal Dolga was promoted to the rank of Sargent, and Officer Loane was promoted to the rank of Corporal. These promotions will go in effect next week after Lieutenant Elverson retires. Lt. Elverson has served the Upper Merion Police Department for 28 years! Congrats to those who were promoted and to Lt. Elverson on your retirement!
